2010-03-24 - The activity of the bureau of credit histories will contribute to the increased access to lending, -

This was announced by the president of the National Bank during the meeting devoted to birthday of the author of the national emblem and flag of Moldova Gheorghe Vrabie. According to the president of the National Bank, reliable information related to credit history, which is very important for risk management, significantly contributes to easier decision-making on lending and possible reduction of the rates on loans. In addition, the activities of the credit bureau will help to improve the rating of the country and, above all, its business-rating, as foreign investors will be able to check the creditworthiness of potential partners and to feel comfortable in Moldova. Dorin Dragutanu noted that it takes time to gather information from all financial market participants, to compile a database, but in the end, it will have a positive effect. Bureau of Credit Histories provides services for formation, processing and storage of credit histories, as well as provides reports on credits and related services. As InfoMarket agency was informed by the National Commission on Financial Market, during the meeting of NCFM Administrative Board on March 11, joint venture «Credit Bureau» SRL was granted a license to administer the activity of the credit bureau for an indefinite period.
