2010-04-08 - «Rospotrebnadzor» did not impose restrictions on the wine deliveries.
This was announced by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko. He noted that in March, his office has rejected imports to Russia of the Batch of Moldovan non-bottled wine amounting to 47 thousand liters, which did not meet safety requirements. «As it was informed before, earlier «Rospotrebnadzor» had banned import of the batch of Moldovan wine, produced by «Lion-Gri» (Moldova). According to «Rospotrebnadzor», as of March 30, 2010, «Lion-Gri» has exported to Kuban wine company (Russia) 22,4 thousand liters of grape dry white wine Chardonnay « and 24,6 thousand liters of «Muscat». After condiucting of the lazbiorartory tests, «Rospotrebnadzor» has found tout that many goods do not meet hygienic standards and banned their import to Russia. Earlier the Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova stated that it had not yet received the official notification from the competent authorities of Russia to ban exports to Russia of the batch of Moldovan wine volume of 47 thousand liters. The office intends to present its position after receiving the official information.
